Welcome to the London Region Arts Club website. If you are already a member you will be able to view and book for the various events we have arranged from this site. If you are just browsing please use the Events tab to see the range of activities that we offer.
You will see that we provide both course specific events such as day schools and readings as well as more general interest events including walks and gallery visits. You do not need to live or study in London to join us, we have members from all parts of the country. Graduate of the Open University are also very welcome to join and it is an opportunity to keep in touch with other students.
We celebrate our 40th anniversary in 2012
The club was formed in 1972 and is run by a voluntary group of past and present OU students and graduates so we know what it is like to complete distance learning courses and the value face to face tuition can bring. Although independent of the Open University we enjoy the support of the OU's London Region. Our events are usually led by experienced OU tutors although we sometimes use specialist guides when appropriate.
